Friesian & Friesian Sporthorse
What is a Friesian Sporthorse, exactly?
Registry will show At least 25% Friesian parentage. Only Friesian DNA is verified.
We have the blessed opportunity of leasing and owning a couple different breeds that we have crossed with our lovely Friesian stallion JELLE. Very excited to see what he produces across the vastly differing mares this year!
Jelle is of the more "sport-type" build of the Friesian breed. Therefore, when crossed with heavier breeds, the babies have a more sleeker build then the mare, with a thicker neck.
Crossed with a warmblood type-mare and baby is a more "solid" and sturdy, not as fine-boned.
